Our Story

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a mom, educator, and passionate advocate for early childhood learning. My journey to creating Rooted & Ready Curriculum is rooted in a lifetime of experience, both personal and professional.

I grew up on a potato farm in the beautiful mountains of Montana. My childhood was filled with wide-open spaces, rich family values, and a love for learning instilled by my parents—my mom, a dedicated special education teacher, and my dad, a hardworking potato farmer.

After graduating from high school I felt called to further my education at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX. There, I earned an associate degree in Practical Theology and became a licensed pastor. From there I returned home and earned dual bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Business Marketing, along with a minor in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Montana State University,

My love for nurturing children started early—I began babysitting at 12 and became an award-winning nanny while attending Bible school. In 2018, I opened my own daycare and fell completely in love with early childhood education. I discovered the joy of creating enriching learning environments where children can thrive through a mix of play-based exploration and structured activities. Watching little ones grow, discover, and develop essential skills is one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Now living in central Georgia with my wonderful husband and our beautiful daughter, we enjoy traveling and exploring the world together as a family. I’m also the proud mother of six angel babies who have forever shaped my heart.

Rooted & Ready Curriculum was born out of my desire to help educators, parents, and caregivers cultivate meaningful learning experiences for young children. My goal is to provide engaging, thoughtful, and practical resources that encourage children to explore, learn, and grow—planting seeds of knowledge that will bloom for a lifetime.

Thank you for letting me be part of your educational journey. I’m excited to see the amazing things you’ll cultivate with your little learners!
